My quest for the perfect eye cream continues… I first formulated the Eye Balm but I wanted a cream that was a bit lighter. Something that was soothing and had super powers…. here it is! It sinks in easy but provides powerful hydration and targets dark circles and skin repair.

It’s pale pink color comes from the astaxanthin in it. This powerful carotenoid targets age spots and smoothes wrinkles. Lingonberry provides hydration and helps tighten skin. The smell is like eating a yogurt covered strawberry while running through fields of neroli and marigold! Soothing, carefree, happy.

Ingredient highlights:

Collageneer is an anti-aging and firming ingredient that stimulates the synthesis of a high-quality collagen to increase elasticity and firmness in the skin, helping to remodel the facial contour.

Edelweiss Extract:

· Very high radical scavenging activity of antioxidant products of 286 (= Radical Protection Factor, RPF)

Palmitoyl Peptide: Combination of active ingredients able to reduce appearance of dark circles under the eyes that are caused by colored blood pigments in the skin. It also has been found to have an anti-irritant effect and reinforces firmness and tone of the eye area.

In a study with 22 female volunteers the application of a gel containing 2% of the product for 56 days resulted in a reduced appearance of dark circles in more than 70% as assessed by image analysis and computerized measurement of color parameters

Astaxanthin: One of nature’s most potent antioxidants, it is classified as a caretenoid. It is primarily found in marine life including micro algae, wild salmon, red trout, krill, shrimp, crabs, and lobsters. It gives flamingos and salmon their brilliant pink hue. Astaxanthin has been shown in clinical studies to increase skin moisture, moisture retention, elasticity, as well as promote skin smoothness, decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. It also has UV-blocking properties. A 2007 study analyzed several popular antioxidants and their antioxidant power. This study found astaxanthin was 6,000 times stronger than vitamin C, 800 times stronger than CoQ10, 550 times stronger than green tea catechins and 75 times stronger than alpha lipoic acid.” It has been proven to increase blood flow, meaning that it will help your skin to have better circulation
