About Taylor Foster
Taylor Foster is an international fashion model who began her career at thirteen, going on to work around the world with renowned photographers, designers, makeup artists and publications including Vogue, W, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair. She walked the runways of New York, Paris, Milan and London, spending decades immersed in the world of fashion and beauty.
Alongside modeling, Taylor followed another lifelong passion for making things. She studied baking and pastry at the Culinary Institute of America, worked in professional kitchens, and eventually opened her own café in the Catskills. That same curiosity about ingredients, color, texture and the art of creating something beautiful eventually led her to skincare and makeup.
In 2015, Taylor launched Heaven on Main Street, bringing together her years in fashion with her love of plants, formulation and handmade beauty. Today, she creates everything in small batches in her workshop in Andes, New York.
From the Workshop
Heaven on Main Street began over twenty years ago as a bakery! After closing up the bakery I made the switch to skincare with one product - the Calm & Clear Face Oil - that I had been making for myself for years. I wasn't trying to reinvent skincare or makeup. I simply loved making things. I wanted to create products that felt beautiful to use—products that cared for the skin while bringing a little joy to the everyday.
Some days I'm harvesting roses for rose water. Other days I'm infusing herbs into oils, pouring lipstick, testing a new perfume, or chasing the perfect shade that I've had in my head for weeks. The process is always changing, and that's one of my favorite parts.
Plants, Color & Scent
Plants are at the heart of everything I make.
Whenever possible, I harvest botanicals from around the Catskills and incorporate them into my formulas alongside thoughtfully sourced ingredients from around the world.
I'm equally inspired by color and by scent.
Every lipstick has its own signature blend of pure essential oils. Each perfume tells its own story. Every formula is created not only for how it performs, but for how it feels to use. I believe something as simple as applying a face oil or lipstick can become one of the nicest moments in your day.
Beauty Should Feel Easy
I've never believed beauty should feel complicated.
I want skincare that supports healthy, radiant skin. Makeup that feels effortless. Colors you reach for again and again because they simply make you feel good.
