Sacred Space
A Bay Rum–Infused Oil Perfume for Returning to Yourself
Some scents are made to be noticed.
Some are made to be worn.
Sacred Space was created for the latter — a quiet, intimate oil perfume that doesn’t enter a room before you do, but instead holds you gently inside your own body.
This scent began in a backyard in Miami, where a bay rum tree grows outside my sister’s home. I had been sitting beneath it for days, meditating, breathing, feeling into the energy of success and self-trust, without knowing exactly what I was sitting under. When she finally crushed a leaf in her fingers and handed it to me, everything shifted. The scent was instantly grounding, warm, alive — the smell of confidence, memory, and calm all at once.
I harvested the leaves and flew back to New York with them, where they began their slow infusion into evening primrose oil, a beautiful botanical ally for women’s hormone balance and skin health. From there, the perfume took its time. This one demanded patience — back-and-forth blending, small adjustments, and a lot of listening.
Sacred Space is built on a base of bay rum and evening primrose, then layered with a constellation of essential oils chosen for both scent and nervous-system support: mysore sandalwood, arborvitae, cedar leaf, and cognac to ground and steady; cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper for warmth and circulation; manuka honey, bitter almond, and coffee for sweetness and depth; palmarosa, clary sage, marigold, tagette flower, and blood orange to soften, brighten, and open the heart.
The result is a fragrance that feels like golden warmth on skin — sweet but not sugary, spicy but not sharp, earthy yet luminous. It settles into you. It doesn’t ask for attention. It creates a container.
I named this scent Sacred Space because that’s what it gives back. A place inside your body where you can breathe, feel held, and come back to yourself. A moment of quiet in the middle of everything. A reminder that you don’t need to go anywhere to be home.
This is my first oil-based rollerball fragrance, designed to be worn close: on pulse points, at the heart, behind the ears, at the wrists. It’s a ritual as much as a perfume — something to reach for when you want to ground, soften, or step into your own warmth before moving out into the world.
Sacred Space isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about remembering who you already are.
